How chat plugins integrate LINE

Here you will learn how to integrate Line entry within SaleSmartly

  • How to integrate into the plugin Line entry

(Please create Line’s Login channel and Messaging API channel under the same Providers; creating a Line official account means creating a new account, which is similar in nature to the WeChat official account)

Note: Only the official Line account can be integrated into the plugin entry

1. Create Line official account

① Please open the Line official account management background:https://manager.line.biz/

②If there is no Line official account, select “Create an anccount” to create an official account (if you already have an official account, you can directly enter the official account management background, refer to step 4)

③ Select Line account or email to register

④ After the registration is complete, log in to the official account management page and click “create new” to start creating. (If it has been created, click the corresponding account to enter the official account)

Enter the creation page and fill in the relevant information. After filling in, the official account is created. Click “Go to LINE Official Account Manager” to enter the official account management background (ie Line Official Account Manager).

2. Create a Messaging API channel

① In the Line Official Account Manager (that is, the management background), click “Settings” to enter the “Settings” page.

②Under the “Settings” module, click “Messaging API”, then “Enable Messaging API”

③After clicking “Enable Messaging API”, fill in the developer information.

④Then please select Provider (if there is no existing Provider, please select Generate New Provider). In this step, the Messaging API Channel will be automatically generated under the Provider.

⑤ Click the linkhttps://developers.line.biz/console/, go to the console, click the Messaging API created under the existing Providers, and enter the management page.

⑥ Set Messaging channel

1) On the Messaging channel management page, click “LINE Official Account Manager” in “Basic settings” to start setting.

2) Go to the settings page, click to enter the “Response settings” module, set “Response mode” to Bot, “Greeting message” to Disabled, and “Webhooks” to Enabled.

3. Integrate Line to SaleSmartly

①In the SaleSmartly background, click “Settings”, select Line, select “Add Line”.

② On the messaging API channel management page, select “basic settings”, copy “channel ID” and “channel secret”, and fill in the salesmartly background.

③ Click to enter the “Messaging API” module and toggle the “Use webhook” switch to on

(Note: This button will only appear after the SaleSmartly is bound to be turned on)

4. Create Login channel of Line

1、Go to Line’s developer platformttps://developers.line.biz/,Log in to your Line account.

2、go to console https://developers.line.biz/console/ ,Create a login channel under the existing Providers, click “Create a LINE login channel” to start creating (Make sure the Login channel and Messaging API channel are under the same Providers).

3、When creating a channel, the Channel name can be customized according to your needs, the App type selects “Web app”, and the rest of the required information is filled in. Click Finish to create, and you will automatically enter the channel management page.

4、In the LIFF section, click to create a LIFF app, when creating:

  • LIFF app name can be customized according to your needs
  • Size select “Full”
  • Endpoint URL(https://api.salesmartly.com/client/line/auth-redirect)Copy and fill from the Salesmartly backend (see below).
  • Scopes select profile、openid和chat_message.write
  • Bot link feature select On (Normal)
  • Scan QR switch is on

5、In the channel management page – LINE Login section, Callback URL(https://api.salesmartly.com/client/line/callback)copied from Salesmartly backend and filled in (see below)

6、In the channel management page, click “Developing”, and select “Publish” in the pop-up window “Publish this channel?”.

7、In the background of SaleSmartly, to integrate the plugin Line entry, please select the desired integrated plugin, enter the plugin editing page-integration/installation-open the Line entry-click to integrate.

8、In the channel management page-Basic settings section, copy the channel ID and channel secret (visible by sliding down the same page) to fill in the Salesmartly background; in the LIFF section, copy the Liff Id and fill in the Salesmartly background.

9、Associate the Messaging API Channel section, select “Existing Messaging Channel” for the association method, and select the existing channel.
