WhatsApp Use Tutorial(New users must read.)

This article is mainly for the tutorial on the use of platform accounts purchased in salesmartly.

1. Purchase

To use Whatsapp group messaging, you need to have a paid package before you can use it. You can choose the professional version or the business version. There are differences in the number of available members and available numbers. For details, you can check this: https://www.salesmartly.com/pricing /

You can go to [Settings] – [Cost Center], select the package you need to purchase a paid package.
After purchasing the package, inform the SalesSmartly customer service staff who connect with you: your project name. The project name can be seen below the avatar in the upper right corner.

After submitting the project, go to [Settings]–[Whatsapp]–[Recharge] in the upper right corner, and the number will be assigned after recharging the pre-charged amount.

Note: If you have doubts about the recharge amount, you can go to [Settings] – [WhatsApp] – [Price Calculator], select the country/region to be sent, and fill in the number of messages to be sent to check the required recharge amount .

2. WhatsApp number configuration

After the number is sent, [Settings]–[WhatsApp]–Turn the number status on.

After opening the whatsApp number, click “Contacts”, click “Import” and click “whatsApp” to choose to use an Excel file or directly copy the number to import.

(1) Excel file
Click to download the Excel file and fill in the number in the phone column.
Note: The filling rule is area code + number, for example: 16565656565; delete the first example after inputting.

Click on the upload file location, select the file to upload, after uploading, select the newly activated account or other number in the “attribute whatsapp account”, confirm the information and click submit.

(2) Manual input
Select manual input, the input number format is area code mobile phone number, for example: 113131313131, if there are multiple numbers, click Enter and it will branch, and you can enter it again.

3.Request a WhatsApp message template

In [Message Broadcasting] – [WS Message Template] – [Add New Template], users can apply for a new message template.

After clicking “Add New Template”, fill in the template name, template label, application account, template type and other information, click “Submit” after completion and wait for review.

4. WhatsApp Mass Messaging

Click Message Broadcast, click Create Broadcast.

Click Filter to select the customers to be sent by checking “Select All on This Page”, “Select Multiple”, “Advanced Filter”, and “All Customers”. After confirmation, click OK to filter.

Check whether there are invalid customers after screening. If there are invalid customers, please change other screening items.

Select a template, select the template to be sent this time, and you can change it after selection, or enter a number to test whether it can be sent successfully.

5. View message broadcast effect

After sending a message broadcast, you can view the effect of the broadcast at [Campaigns] – [Message Broadcast], such as the number of people scheduled to send, the number of successful people, delivery rate and other data, so that users can clearly grasp the reach of each message broadcast The effect, so that every broadcast can be traced, help users quickly gain insight into the marketing effect of news broadcast, constantly iterate broadcast content, and improve the efficiency of marketing conversion.

Click “Insights” in a broadcast plan to view the details of a single plan and the effect of reaching the broadcast audience.
