Integrate with WeChat customer service

In this article, you will learn how to integrate WeChat customer service on SaleSmartly, and how to use WeChat customer service to send and receive messages and communicate with customers.

1. Integrate WeChat customer service

In [Channel Integration]-[WeChat Customer Service], click “Authorize Existing Enterprise Micro”. If you do not already have an enterprise WeChat, you can go to the following link to register: https://work.weixin.qq.com/wework_admin/register_wx

After clicking the authorization button, the enterprise micro code scanning page will be opened, please open the enterprise WeChat APP for code scanning authorization (please be sure to use the enterprise WeChat –  identity to scan the code).

After successfully scanning the code, you will be redirected to the enterprise micro authorization page, you need to click the “Agree to Authorization” button, wait for 3 seconds, and then jump back to the SaleSmartly system page. So far, you have successfully integrated WeChat customer service in SaleSmartly.

2. Create a WeChat customer service account

After the authorization is completed, SaleSmartly will automatically create a new customer service account for you in the background, and you can modify, use or delete the account according to your needs. When testing the chat, please enable the customer service account first, and then click “Get Link” to get the chat link/QR code of the customer service account, use the WeChat APP to scan the code, and initiate the chat test as a visitor.

You can create a customer service account or pull the WeChat customer service account created by you in the WeChat management background of Enterprise Micro.

  • Create a new customer service account

Click [New Customer Service Account], upload the avatar of the WeChat customer service account, enter the account name, click Confirm, and the WeChat customer service account will be successfully created.

  • Synchronize the WeChat customer service account in the background of enterprise micro

(1) Enter the enterprise WeChat management background (https://work.weixin.qq.com/wework_admin/loginpage_wx),  click [Application Management]-[WeChat Customer Service], enter the WeChat customer service application details page, pull the page to the bottom, and click [Authorize to third-party application]

(2) On the Authorize to Third-Party Application page, find SaleSmartly, click [Edit] in the operation bar, and select the corresponding customer service account to authorize.

(3) After successful authorization, return to the SaleSmartly background, click the [Sync] button at the top of the customer service account list, and after clicking, the system will automatically pull the authorized WeChat customer service account.

  • After you create/synchronize a WeChat customer service account in WeChat customer service, click [Get Link] to get the customer service QR code and customer service link, and visitors can communicate with you through this customer service QR code or customer service link. You can send and receive guest messages in the SaleSmartly back office to answer your visitors’ questions.

3. Notes

For the situation that your enterprise WeChat is not certified as an enterprise or has not bound a video account, the official has the following restrictions:

  1. When the enterprise has not completed the entity verification, WeChat customer service can only receive 100 customers in total; At the same time, only 10 customer service accounts can be created, and customer service accounts can be created after the enterprise is certified.
  2. When the enterprise has verified but not bound a video account, WeChat customer service can receive 100 customers per day.
  3. When the enterprise has verified and bound a video account, the number of customers that WeChat customer service can receive is not limited.
