1. Inroduction

In this module, you can view users’ information, including cell phone number, email address, channel source, visitor tags, etc. And you can also chat back, send group messages, send group emails and tag users to help you better manage users and make marketing plans for them.

2. Instruction

2.1 Active Customers

Active customers are filtered from the total number of customers with email or mobile numbers, and also include Messenger, Telegram, Instagram, Line, WhatsApp and third-party users.

2.1.1 View data

  • See which users have placed orders, have not placed orders, have messages, etc.

① Customers with conversations: it refers to the users who have communicated.
② Customers with orders: it is only for independent site merchants, referring to the data of users who have placed orders on the independent site.
③ Customers with no orders: it refers to the users who have not placed orders.

Note: All active customers are equal to the sum of customers who have placed orders and those who have not placed orders

2.1.2 View user information

In this part, you can view user’s name, channel, channel information, email, mobile number, country/region, city, language, visitor tags, status, notes, number of orders placed, number of sessions, number of messages, etc.

Of course, you can also customize the display columns by selecting the categories of information you want to display at the information columns.

2.1.3 Filter users

You can filter users according to creation time, channel, name, email, cell phone number, country/region, visitor tag, note, status, quickly locate your target group, and it is convenient for you to send group message, group email, tag and export user information to them. You can also use advanced filtering to find your target customers.

2.1.4 Import and export user information

① You can import users’ information to [Contacts] in bulk to manage your users easily. Before importing, you can download the Excel template provided by us and modify it according to the tips in the template; during the importing process, you can choose “Excel” or “Copy and Paste” to import, and you can also choose to add tags to help you better manage these users; if the import fails, you need to modify it on Excel according to the prompt message and import again. These users; if the import is prompted to fail, you need to modify the message on Excel according to the prompt and import again.
Note: SaleSmartly temporarily supports importing up to 20,000 users at a time.

② You can also export user information and support exporting up to 2000 pieces of data at one time, if the number of checkboxes exceeds 2000, only the last 2000 pieces will be exported.

2.1.5 Talk back

You can click on a user’s “name” to view chat details and basic information about the user, and click on “talk back” to open a conversation.

2.1.6 Group messaging and email

  • Bulk messaging

In the user information field, check the users you want to send a group message to, click “Group Message” to display the number of contacts you can send to, and then edit the message content, which can be text, images and attachments or a combination of these three types. If the contact you want to send a group message to is from a Messenger channel, you need to select the message tag.

  • Bulk email

In the user information column, you can check the users you want to send emails to, click “Mass Email”, go in and set email title, choose email template, edit content, etc. After setting, click “Create and Execute”. After sending, you can check the sent data in [ Campaigns ] – [ Email ].

2.1.7 Tagging

In the user information column, check the users you want to send emails to, click “Tag”, check the tags you want to tag, you can select more tags, and choose “Append Tags” and “Overwrite Tags”. It should be noted that “Append Label” will not affect the existing labels, only the new labels will be added; Override Label” will add the selected labels to the customers, and the other labels will be cleared.

2.2 All customers

“All customers” are all users who have opened the chat plugin or communicated with the social media numbers (Email, Instagram, Line, WhatsApp, etc.) tied to SaleSmartly.

The functions in this part are similar to those under the [Active Customer] module, and both have the following functions, such as tagging, bulk messaging and email.

In addition, in this part, it helps you to view real-time visitors.

Users who have only opened the chat plugin, even if they have not sent messages, can still view their messages at [ All Customer ], and can choose to talk back to them, send bulk emails, send bulk messaging, etc.

3. 常见问题

1) Q:When checking users, I clearly checked the box next to “Name” and selected the users, but when I export the user information, there are only 20 users instead of all users? What is the problem?

      A:If you want to check all users, you can click “Check all XX customers” at the bottom to check all users. When you check the box next to “Name”, you only check all users on a page, not all users. Detailed description of the function is as follows.

2) Q:How often is the data of user information updated?

      A:Real-time updates. But the data (customers with conversations, customers with orders, customers without orders, etc.) are updated once an hour.
