Online Chat Function Settings

1. Session Assign

In this part, you can set Auto Assign, Auto Hosting, Session Hosting, and Auto Session Termination.

1.1 Auto assign

When auto-hosting is turned on, when visitors from chat plugins, Messenger & comments, and Line send you messages, these messages go to the [Online Chat – Bot Hosting List] first, so you need to check them at [Bot Hosting] until you reply to the visitor’s message and the session goes to the “Assigned ” list. If you turn off this feature, the messages will go to the Unassigned list first, until you tap into the session, and then they will go to the Assigned list.

1.2 Session Hosting

Sessions are added to the “Assigned” list, and when session hosting is enabled, automation and FAQ autoresponders are enabled by default to help you handle your visitors’ messages quickly and efficiently.

1.3 Auto Session Termination

For Messenger and FB post comments, when you enable this feature, it will automatically end bot-hosted/unassigned sessions when you don’t reply to a Messenger or FB comment message in the SaleSmartly platform.

2. Notification

Here you can set the message notification method, trigger notification, and browser alert sound.

Trigger : This means that bot-hosted messages, new messages from assigned users can be notified to you via your browser or public.

The following is the effect of selecting a browser notification message.

3. Default chat method for offline visitors to plugin channels

After the visitors of the plugin channel are offline, choose the default chat method, either by Email by default, or communicate with them through the chat plugin.

4. End session confirm

After setting, click “End Session” and a pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm whether you want to end the session.
