Integrate with LINE

Below you will learn how to integrate Line in SaleSmartly.

1. Go to the official Line account background

Go to the LINE Official Account Management page( https://manager.line.biz/ ), select the LINE account, and go to the Manage page.

2. Create a Messaging API channel

(1) In Line Official Account Manager (that is, the management background), click “Settings” to enter the “Settings” page.

(2) Under the “Settings” module, click “Messaging API”, and then click “Enable Messaging API”

(3) Create a “Service Provider”, enter any name or LINE official account name (without affecting subsequent operations), and click Agree.

(4) Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and confirm activation

  • The privacy policy and terms of service URL can be left blank, and you can click “OK” directly.
  • If necessary, you can fill in the privacy policy and terms of service website.
  • Confirm the account name and service provider name and click “OK”.

3. Integrate Line into SaleSmartly

(1)Enter Channel ID & Channel Secret

  • The Messaging API profile appears on the LINE official account management page, click “Copy” to paste the Channel ID into SaleSmartly.
  • Click “Copy” to paste the Channel Secret into SaleSmartly.

(2) Change the response mode

  • Click [Response Setting] in the left column of the LINE Official Account Management page to turn on the “Webhook” button.
  • Turn off “Welcome Message to Join Friends” and “Response Time” to avoid duplication with messages set in the SaleSmartly background.

(3) Go to LINE Developers and open Webhook

  • Click https://developers.line.biz/console/ to go to the LINE Developers page, scroll down to find Use webhook, and click Open.
  • Reorganize the page and confirm that the Use webhook switch is turned on in green.

4. How to receive Line group chat messages

In the developer's backend, select the corresponding provider's messaging API module and turn on the 'Allow robots to join group chat' switch.
