How to get an email authorization code

1. Hotmail or Outlook (Microsoft) mailbox

Hotmail or Outlook mailbox, the authorization code is the mailbox password, and you can fill in the mailbox account password in the SaleSmartly system.

  • If you can send and receive normally, you do not need to perform the following steps;
  • If it prompts that the account password is incorrect, and it has been confirmed that the account password is correct, then you need to log in to the web mailbox background and verify the mailbox IP. The detailed operation is as follows:

①[My Microsoft Account] – [Security] – [Security] –  follow the prompts to verify.

② After the verification is complete, click [Login Activities/View My Activities]

③ Authenticate as prompted.

2. Gmail

① Click [Image] – [Manage Your Google Account] – [Security] – Click [Two-Step Verification] – Click [Start] – Follow the prompts to complete the two-step verification.

② Go back to [Manage Your Google Account] – [Security] – [Enable App-specific Password] – Log in to your Google account again and perform 2-step verification.

③When generating a special password, select [Email] – [Other (custom name)] and fill in (SaleSmartly is used here as an example) – after filling in the name – click [Generate] – record and save the password.

④ Go back to the Gmail page, click the [Settings] icon – [View all settings] – Click [Forwarding and POP/IMAP] – [Enable IMAP] – Click [Save] to change

⑤ Please go back to the SaleSmartly system and enter the authorization code.
