Changelog-2026.7

01. Upgraded online chat experience

To reduce the time customer service staff spend searching for functions during high-frequency interactions, this new version of online chat adds a quick operation panel and supports send key preference settings, making frequently used operations more centralized and the input experience more convenient.

A new quick access panel has been added: After selecting a conversation in the chat panel, the quick access panel can be accessed via a shortcut key ( default space + k ). Frequently used functions can be quickly accessed within the panel, including opening the script library/quick reply, adding visitor tags, adding conversation tags , and other high-frequency functions, reducing the need to frequently search for function entry points. Users can also customize the shortcut key for sending messages according to their preferences ; the input box will also display the current sending and line break settings for easy reference and use.

Quick Function Panel

Use cases:
When customer service representatives need to frequently add tags, assign conversations, recall scripts, or record internal notes during the reception process, they can quickly complete these tasks directly through the quick operation panel, reducing the time spent repeatedly clicking on different entry points.

02. Optimization and Upgrade of Distribution Links

To make it easier for businesses to handle customer inquiries on Instagram, we have optimized the referral links.

Spread links now support Instagram: When creating a spread link, you can now select an Instagram account as the spread channel. Rules such as random spread, spread by time period, and sequential spread are supported. Teams can flexibly configure these based on account handling schedules, allowing customer inquiries to be more effectively distributed across different accounts. Furthermore, Instagram spread links also support promotion, insights, editing, and deletion for convenient subsequent management and performance monitoring.

Instagram feed link

Use cases:
When businesses drive customer inquiries through their Instagram Page, ad creatives, or event pages, they can use referral links to handle inquiries from different sources. For teams operating multiple Instagram accounts, referral rules can help distribute the workload more efficiently, reduce manual allocation, and facilitate understanding the effectiveness of different campaigns or channels based on link data.

03 API Development Capability Expansion

To meet the growing needs of enterprises for customer tag management and channel data synchronization, we are further expanding the API interface capabilities.

The Android SDK now supports setting custom fields and sending text messages: The chat plugin channel's Android SDK supports setting custom fields, allowing businesses to pass user information to SaleSmartly and simultaneously write it into custom fields in the customer profile, such as customer level, package information, and order status. This makes it easier for customer service to quickly understand the user's background during interactions. Simultaneously, the SDK also supports proactively sending text messages on the client side via API, suitable for scenarios such as error alerts, product inquiries, or button-triggered inquiries, helping customer service quickly understand the user's current needs.

The API interface supports the creation of custom fields: The customer management API now includes the ability to create, edit, delete, enable, and disable custom fields. Field types support dropdown selection, text input, date selection, and numeric input, making it easy for enterprises to synchronize customer data structures from their internal systems to SaleSmartly.

The API interface supports creating session tags: The customer management API now includes session tagging capabilities, allowing users to create, edit, and delete session tags, with up to three levels of tags. Enterprises can maintain session categories through the interface to label different types of inquiries, facilitating subsequent filtering, statistics, and follow-up.

Use cases:
When businesses already have their own apps, CRM systems, or business systems, they can synchronize user data, business status, and conversation information to SaleSmartly via the Android SDK and API. For example, when a user inquires about a product, submits an error report, or clicks a button within the app, the system can automatically send a text message to customer service. Simultaneously, customer levels, order status, custom fields, and conversation tags can also be synchronized and maintained through the interface, reducing manual data entry and making customer service and subsequent customer management more efficient.

04 Optimization of traffic splitting and connection capabilities

To enable businesses to handle customer inquiries more flexibly across different channels, the traffic routing capabilities have been expanded.

Referral links now support the Messenger channel: When creating a referral link, you can now select Messenger as the referral channel. Businesses can configure corresponding Messenger referral links according to different business scenarios, making it easier for customers to access specific consultation channels. Random referral, time-based referral, and sequential referral rules are supported.

Messenger redirect link

Use cases:
When businesses direct customer inquiries through advertising creatives, event pages, or other channels, they can use Messenger referral links to handle customer messages. For businesses operating multiple channels or multiple customer service teams, different referral links can be configured according to actual customer service arrangements, facilitating unified management and follow-up.

05 WhatsApp API Channel Chat Optimization

To make it easier for customer service representatives to respond to context when handling consecutive messages and specific issues, the message reply capabilities of the WhatsApp API channel have been optimized.

Supports quoting messages: When replying, customer service representatives can quote messages they have already sent or directly quote messages sent by customers , making it convenient to provide supplementary explanations for specific content.

WhatsApp API reference reply

Use cases:
When a customer sends multiple messages in a row, or when customer service needs to respond to a specific message, quoting the message can clearly indicate the recipient, making it easier for both parties to confirm the content of the current discussion and facilitating customer service in handling orders, product inquiries, and after-sales issues.

06. Chat plugin language extension support

To meet the needs of customers in different countries and regions, the language support for the chat plugin has been expanded.

Added language support: The chat plugin now includes Filipino, Brazilian, Burmese, and Kenyan language options.

Select language

Use cases:
When businesses provide customer service to different countries and regions, they can select the corresponding chat plugin language based on the target customer group, making it easier for customers to access the consultation portal and use the online chat function. This is suitable for cross-border e-commerce, overseas brands, and multi-regional business teams.

07. Upgraded Bulk Messaging Capability

To make it easier for teams to manage and locate mass messaging tasks, the new version of mass messaging continues to optimize list information and filtering capabilities.

The bulk messaging list now includes multi-dimensional filtering: the list can display and filter information such as creation time, social media channel, and sending time, making it easier for teams to quickly find and manage bulk messaging tasks.

Bulk messaging supports random sending and translated sending: When sending bulk messages, you can flexibly choose the sending method. When a bulk messaging plan contains multiple contents, it supports randomly sending different contents (each customer only sends one random content) and translating the message before sending it to meet the needs of different customer groups.

Use cases:
When businesses need to send mass messages to multiple customers, they can pre-set multiple sets of scripts for the same mass message task. The system will randomly select one message for each customer to send, reducing the risk of reaching customers with repetitive scripts; at the same time, it can match the corresponding language based on the customer's country and send the message accordingly.

08 X App Channel Integration Launch

To make it easier for businesses to manage X App customer private messages, this update adds X App channel integration capabilities, incorporating X App private messages into SaleSmartly's unified communication process.

X App Private Messages: Supports receiving and sending private messages within the X App in the SaleSmartly backend . The content to be sent includes text, images, and videos.

X APP Channel

Use cases:
After integrating with X App, businesses can centrally process customer private messages on X App in the SaleSmartly backend, promptly respond to inquiries, and supplement product or service information with pictures and videos.

09. Email input now supports saving drafts.

To make it easier for customer service staff to save and continue editing emails, the email input box has been optimized to reduce the need for repeated editing due to temporary task switching or long content.

The email input box supports drafts: You can save the email content as a draft during the editing process, and continue to add and modify it later before sending it.

Email Channel Draft

Use cases:
When a customer service representative is editing a long email or needs to temporarily handle other customer messages, they can save the current content as a draft and continue editing later when they return to the email conversation, reducing repetitive typing and making email processing more convenient.

10 AI members' capabilities upgraded

To allow the team to use and manage AI members more flexibly, we have iterated and upgraded the AI members.

AI members support third-party AI: Currently supports integration with Kouzi, Coze International Edition, Dify, and GPTBots, allowing teams to choose existing AI services based on business needs.

AI members support setting reception limits and duplication: Users can set a maximum number of AI members they can serve based on actual needs, facilitating the team's division of labor between AI and human customer service. Furthermore, already configured AI members can be directly copied , reducing repetitive creation and configuration operations.

The new project supports purchasing AI member message quotas: New projects can purchase AI member message quotas on demand through the subscription area.

Add AI members

Set reception limit and copy

Purchase quota

Use cases:

Once a team has already built an AI service in Kouzi, Coze (international version), Dify, or GPTBots, they can integrate with SaleSmartly for customer reception. They can also replicate existing AI members and set different reception limits for different products, regions, or customer types. As the volume of receptions increases, the team can also purchase message quotas as needed.

11. Optimize customer marketing capabilities

To enable operations staff to more quickly identify customer sources, determine customer characteristics, and find target groups, the customer information viewing and filtering experience has been optimized.

Visitor tags support custom colors: You can set colors for different visitor tags, making customer groups and tag information more eye-catching and easier to distinguish when viewing.

Customer information now includes ad source information: Users can view and filter customers created through ads, and distinguish between customers' first and most recent ad visits , making it easier to understand the source of customers brought in by ads and recent outreach. Currently, ad information from Messenger, WhatsApp App, WhatsApp API, and TikTok Business Accounts is supported.

Visitor tags support custom colors

Advertising information

Use cases:

Use case: When operations staff review the quality of customers brought in by ads, they can quickly distinguish different customers such as high-intent customers and those waiting to be followed up by color tags, and filter customers by ad source. By combining the first time entering the ad and the most recently entered the ad, they can determine where the customer initially came from and which ad recently reached them, which makes it easier to adjust the subsequent placement and follow-up strategies.

12. Chat plugin optimization

To provide a more natural communication experience for visitors from different countries and regions, we have optimized the way custom content is displayed in the plugin.

The chat plugin supports automatic translation of custom content: When enabled, notifications, welcome messages, subtitles, online/offline titles , and chat prompts will automatically display corresponding translations based on the visitor's browser language , allowing visitors of different languages to see plugin text that is easier to understand.

Automatic language matching

Use cases:

When a business operates an independent website targeting multiple countries or regions, it can configure corresponding plugin content for visitors who speak different languages, reducing the language barrier and making it easier for visitors to start inquiring.

13. SaleSmartly email service launched

To enable businesses to conduct email communication and marketing using their own domains, the SaleSmartly email service has been added.

SaleSmartly email service: Supports creating corporate email accounts using your own domain. After verification, you can create mailboxes, assign members, and manage email messages centrally within SaleSmartly. Enterprises can also conduct bulk email campaigns based on actual sending needs, with mailbox credits deducted based on the number of emails sent.

Integrated Domains

Dedicated email mass mailing

Use cases:
When a business needs to send service notifications or marketing emails to customers using its brand domain, it can create an email address and assign it to team members after completing domain verification; subsequent email communication and mass mailing can all be done in the same backend.

14. Optimize customer marketing capabilities

To enable the team to reach target customers more accurately and accumulate customer information, we have optimized the traffic distribution links and customer management capabilities.

Split links support setting accessible regions: When creating a split link, you can specify the regions that are allowed to access it and restrict access from IPs in other regions, allowing marketing content to be more focused on the target market.

The customer list now includes a new customer perspective: multiple duplicate contacts under the same customer are merged and displayed as a single customer data entry, and information such as the number of associated orders, the most recent active time, and the most recent active contacts are summarized.

Customer analytics supports filtering by visitor tags: Customer analytics data can be filtered by visitor tags, making it easy to compare different customer groups.

Restricted access areas

Customer perspective

Visitor tag filtering

Use cases: When the same customer contacts a business through different channels such as Facebook and WhatsApp, the team can view the customer's contacts and historical information from the customer's perspective to avoid duplicate follow-ups; when conducting regional marketing, the access scope of the diversion links can also be limited, and the performance of different customer groups can be analyzed in combination with visitor tags to provide a reference for subsequent campaigns and follow-ups.
