Changelog-2026.8

01 Optimization of Automation Capabilities

To enable businesses to achieve more refined automation in customer follow-up, we optimized the judgment criteria.

Add reception member criteria: Add reception member judgment criteria to the customer attributes of the automation conditions . Enterprises can set corresponding rules according to the customer service staff currently responsible for reception, so as to help different staff members perform more accurate automated operations for customers.

Add reception member conditions

Use cases:
When multiple customer service representatives on a team are simultaneously responsible for customer follow-up, different automation rules can be set up based on the receiving personnel. For example, when a customer received by a designated customer service representative meets certain conditions, tags can be automatically added, reminders can be triggered, or subsequent processes can be executed. This helps the team manage customers according to the division of labor among the receiving personnel, reducing manual screening and repetitive operations.

02 Orders are synchronized with Shopline

To help e-commerce teams view and manage order information more easily, Shopline support has been added to this order update.

Support for Shopline order synchronization: The new Shopline store order data synchronization capability helps businesses integrate order information into SaleSmartly, making it easier for customer service to view relevant order information when customers inquire, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms.

Synchronized orders

Use cases:
When customers inquire about order status, product information, or after-sales issues, customer service representatives can quickly understand the customer's purchase situation by combining Shopline order data, reducing repetitive query operations and improving the efficiency of pre-sales and after-sales services.

03 Customer analytics sharing links support batch management

To give businesses greater control when sharing customer analytics data, we have optimized the management capabilities for customer analytics sharing links, making it easier for teams to maintain multiple data sharing entry points in a unified manner.

Batch management of shared links: Customer Analytics now supports batch management of shared links, allowing businesses to process multiple shared links simultaneously. This reduces repetitive operations.

Share link

Use cases:
When businesses need to share customer analysis data from different projects and time periods with agents, partner teams, or managers, they can quickly organize and maintain multiple sharing links through batch management, making data collaboration more convenient.

04 Meta Official Marketing Capabilities Compatibility Upgrade

To help businesses better utilize Meta's official marketing messaging capabilities, SaleSmartly has completed a marketing messaging adaptation upgrade.

Supports Meta Ads Integration: A new feature allows direct authorization of Facebook ad accounts , enabling businesses to send marketing messages and track ad data for those accounts simultaneously. This helps businesses manage ad delivery and marketing reach more easily. ( Authorized ad accounts will also be integrated into the homepage .)

Add meta ad account

Meta ad account mass sending

Use cases:
When businesses reach potential customers through Meta ads, they can integrate their ad accounts with SaleSmartly and send promotional content to customers via marketing messaging capabilities. Simultaneously, the team can view the performance data of the corresponding ad accounts and optimize subsequent campaign strategies based on marketing results.

05 API integration optimization

To facilitate enterprises in synchronizing user information from their own systems to SaleSmartly, this dedicated link now includes parameter passing capabilities, making it suitable for use in conjunction with websites, apps, or other business systems and chat plugins.

The dedicated link supports passing user information parameters:
Businesses can use a dedicated link to pass user ID, name, language, phone number, email, description, tags, and custom fields to SaleSmartly. When the chat plugin is opened, this user information is simultaneously written to the customer profile, reducing duplicate data entry and allowing customer service to quickly understand the customer's background before contacting them.

Use cases:
When businesses drive customers to a landing page through advertising, they can include information such as the ad source, campaign name, and channel identifier in a dedicated link on the page. Once a customer clicks the link and enters the chat plugin, this information is synchronized to SaleSmartly's customer profile. This allows the team to easily identify which ad or campaign the customer came from and analyze the performance of customers from different ad sources based on subsequent inquiries, follow-ups, and conversion rates, providing a reference for future ad optimization.

06 WhatsApp API Protocol Integration Optimization

To make WhatsApp API integration and synchronization more flexible, we have optimized the account synchronization method for ChatApp using the WhatsApp API protocol.

ChatApp now supports selecting accounts to sync via channels: When multiple channels are configured under a single ChatApp, users can now specify the corresponding account to sync with, no longer limited to the default channel. Enterprises can choose different channels for syncing based on the actual account affiliation, facilitating more flexible account management in multi-channel scenarios. Channel information and connection status can also be viewed on the management page, allowing teams to easily confirm the channels corresponding to different accounts and their current status.

Add channel to synchronize accounts

Use cases:
When a company manages multiple business channels or multiple accounts through a single ChatApp, it can select the appropriate channel to synchronize accounts as needed, avoiding the concentration of all accounts in the default channel. This makes account ownership clearer in multi-account, multi-channel operation scenarios and facilitates unified management and customer service in the future.

07 LINE Personal Account Messaging Capabilities Upgraded

To allow customer service representatives to send more types of information when handling customer inquiries on their LINE Personal Accounts, we have optimized LINE Personal Accounts.

LINE Personal Accounts support sending files: Customer service representatives can directly send files to customers within a LINE Personal Account conversation. This is suitable for product information, quotations, operating instructions, after-sales documents, etc., eliminating the need to switch to other channels to send them. Individual attachments cannot exceed 30MB. Attachment sending capabilities can be used for online chat, automated processes, and mass messaging.

Send attachment

Use cases:
When customers inquire about product solutions, pricing, or after-sales issues, customer service representatives can directly send relevant materials via their LINE personal accounts. For example, they can send price lists, product introductions, or operation documents, allowing customers to view the necessary files within the current conversation, reducing cross-channel communication and the need for repeated document sending.

08 Project Management Capability Optimization

To facilitate financial management for businesses operating across multiple projects, we have optimized our project capabilities.

Supports cross-project wallet balance transfer: Super administrators can transfer wallet balances between different projects, making it easier for businesses to adjust project fund usage according to actual operational needs and reduce duplicate top-ups and fund management costs.

Transfer balance

Use cases:
When a company manages multiple projects simultaneously, and a project has insufficient funds or needs to adjust its fund allocation, the super administrator can directly transfer the balance, making fund management between different projects more flexible.

09 WhatsApp's traffic redirection capabilities upgraded

To enable businesses to better control customer allocation in WhatsApp multi-account scenarios , this update optimizes the account allocation limit settings in the traffic splitting link.

Spread links support setting account spread limits: When creating or editing a WhatsApp spread link, you can set a maximum number of accounts that can participate in the spread. Businesses can control the scope of customer distribution based on account capacity and reception arrangements to avoid excessive pressure on accounts.

Set upper limit

Use cases:
When a company handles customer inquiries through multiple customer service accounts, it can set the number of inquiries to be routed according to the actual capacity of each account, so that customer inquiries can be more reasonably distributed to designated accounts and the overall efficiency of handling inquiries can be improved.

10. Added a quick session end configuration to project settings.

To reduce repetitive actions when customer service representatives end a session, we have added a new feature.

Ending a session is now faster: A "Quickly End Session" switch has been added to the project settings . When enabled, members will automatically end an online session when they manually end it, without a second confirmation pop-up . If "Send Comment Invitation by Default When Ending Session" is also enabled, a comment invitation will still be automatically sent according to the original rules after the session ends.

End the session quickly

Use cases:
When customer service teams are handling a large number of inquiries, invalid sessions, or customers whose services have already been completed, they can enable the quick end session configuration to reduce the confirmation steps before each session ends and improve customer service efficiency.

11. Optimize customer analytics capabilities

To enable the team to better understand the social media account information of clients when reviewing client analytics data, we have supplemented the data dimensions of client details.

Customer details now include social media account information: When selecting the "Social Media Accounts" dimension in Customer Analytics , the account connection status and notes will now be displayed. These fields will also support viewing via shareable links and exporting data, allowing teams to obtain more complete account information.

social media accounts

Use Case: When teams review customer data from different social media accounts through customer analytics, they can further verify the specific source account by combining information such as account ID, connection status, and notes . For collaborations via shared links, the status of these accounts can be viewed in real time, reducing the need to manually check each account in the account list.

12 Plugin Compliance Upgrades

To meet the security and compliance requirements of internet platforms, the compliance verification mechanism of the SaleSmartly chat plugin has been upgraded.

Plugin Compliance Verification Upgrade: In accordance with relevant platform security requirements, the compliance verification mechanism for chat plugins has been further improved. In some use cases, enterprises need to complete the corresponding certification before they can use the plugin service normally.

Enterprise Certification

Use cases:
When businesses communicate with users through the SaleSmartly chat plugin, the system will prompt them to complete business authentication if relevant compliance verification requirements are triggered. After completing the authentication as instructed, businesses can continue to use the chat plugin for customer reception.

13. Webhook message compatibility upgraded

To facilitate businesses in connecting to message data from different social media channels via Webhook, this update expands the channel compatibility capabilities for receiving messages via Webhook.

Webhook now supports more social media channels for receiving messages: Video and audio messages received via Webhook now include social media channel information, allowing for the identification of the corresponding channel. This covers channels such as Messenger, chat plugins, Instagram, WhatsApp API, WhatsApp App, and Telegram App, making it easier for businesses to further differentiate and process data from different channels after receiving messages.

Use cases:
When enterprises connect SaleSmartly messages to CRM, self-built systems, or other business systems via Webhook, they can identify the specific source based on the channel information carried in the message and execute the corresponding data processing logic according to different social media channels, making multi-channel message integration clearer.
