I. Function Introduction

SMS marketing supports sending marketing/notification SMS messages to target customer groups and allows users to view the effectiveness of SMS delivery.

Sending SMS messages will incur corresponding fees based on the length of the message and the country/region of the recipient's phone number. The fees will be deducted from your in-game wallet balance.

II. Function Usage Instructions

1. SMS Templates & SMS Signatures

To create an SMS marketing campaign, you must first create an SMS template, submit it, and wait for approval before you can use it.

If you need to include a signature in your text messages, you must first create a signature, submit it, and wait for approval before you can use it.

1.1 Creating SMS Templates

In the 【 Marketing - Message Templates - SMS Templates 】 section, click " Create SMS Template". Enter the required template content and submit for review.

• Supports the creation of SMS templates in the "Notification/Marketing" category.
• SMS messages support inserting parameters and links.
• When creating a template, you enter content, and the system calculates the content length and the estimated number of SMS messages to be consumed.

If you need to edit an approved SMS template, you must resubmit it for review before you can use it.

1.2 Creating SMS Signatures

In the 【 Marketing - Message Templates - SMS Templates 】 section, click " Create SMS Signature". Enter the required signature according to the instructions and submit for review.

Note that SMS signatures are unique within the SaleSmartly service customer network. If you are prompted that an existing signature already exists when creating a signature, please enter a different signature and submit it for review.

If you edit a signature that has already been approved, you must resubmit it for review before you can use it.

2. SMS Bulk Messaging Plan

2.1 Create an SMS bulk messaging plan

In the 【 Marketing - Bulk Messaging 】 section, click Create Plan, then select SMS to enter the bulk messaging plan creation page.

Enter the bulk messaging plan creation page and fill in the plan name.

Select recipients for the plan: Only customers with mobile phone numbers that are not registered in China are supported.

Send SMS content: Select an approved SMS template

After setting the corresponding sending rules, you can create a bulk sending plan.

Note: Estimated costs are for reference only. Actual costs will be calculated and deducted by the operator based on the length of the SMS message and the country code of the number.

2.2 View SMS bulk messaging data

In the " Marketing - Bulk Messaging " section, locate the corresponding SMS bulk messaging plan, click "Insights," and you can view the sending data for that plan.

3. SMS usage inquiry

Under 【 Subscriptions - Usage 】, find SMS consumption usage to view the amount consumed for each bulk SMS plan .

FAQ:

1. Can I specify the SMS message sender number?

Specified number not supported

2. If an SMS message is sent successfully but the user does not actually receive it, will the user be charged?

According to the operator's rules, the fee will be deducted upon successful SMS delivery.

3. Why are the charges different even though the text message templates and content are the same?

The cost varies depending on the country/region where the recipient's number is located.

If a text message contains variables, the length of the variable values will also result in different lengths of the actual sent content, and thus different charges.

4. Why is it not supported to send to numbers in mainland China?

Due to policy restrictions, operators are temporarily not providing SMS services to mainland China numbers.
